Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your Wemekko purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help with a friendly return and exchange process. Please read the following policy to ensure a smooth experience:

Eligibility & Timeframe:
- Exchanges/Returns: We accept return or exchange requests within 72 hours of order delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, with all tags attached, and in their original packaging.
- Condition: Please ensure the product is in its original condition – unworn, unwashed, and free of any stains or damage. Items that don’t meet these conditions may not be accepted for return/exchange.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange:
1. Request: Contact us or log in to your account on our website to submit a return/exchange request for the item. Please provide your order number and the reason for return. If exchanging for a different size or item, let us know your preferred replacement.
2. Confirmation: Once we receive your request, our customer care team will review it. If the item is eligible, we’ll approve the return/exchange and send you a confirmation email with details.
3. Pickup/Shipping: For domestic orders, we’ll arrange a courier pickup at your address to collect the item. Please pack the product securely in its original packaging for pickup. (For international orders, or in cases where courier pickup isn’t available, we’ll guide you on sending the item back to us.)
4. Exchange/Refund Processing: After we receive the returned item, it will go through a quick quality check. Once approved, we’ll process your exchange or return as requested. Exchanges will be dispatched promptly, and return refunds or credits will be issued as per our refund policy (see below). We’ll keep you updated at each step via email.

Important Notes:
- Sale Items: Items purchased during clearance sales or special promotions are not eligible for cash refund. In most cases, we offer an exchange or store credit for sale items, instead of a refund.
- Pickup Attempts: Our delivery partner will attempt pickup up to two times. If the pickup is unsuccessful (for example, if you’re unavailable during scheduled times), we’ll reach out to reschedule. After two failed attempts, you may need to arrange to send the product back to us at your cost.
- Item Condition: If a returned item fails to meet our quality check (for instance, if it’s used or damaged by the customer), we won’t be able to process the return. We can send the item back to you in such cases.
- Keep the Proof: Once you hand over the return package to our courier, we recommend keeping the receipt or tracking details until your return is processed, just for peace of mind.

Returns & Refunds

Your satisfaction is our priority. Here’s how returns and refunds work at Wemekko:

Return Options: In most cases, when you return a product, we offer you a free exchange or store credit. This way, you can pick something else you love from our collection. We believe in helping you find the perfect outfit rather than losing out due to a change of heart or size issue.

Refund Eligibility: We will provide a full refund (to your original payment method) in situations where:
- We made an error with your order – for example, we sent the wrong item or size, or the product received is materially different from what you ordered.
- The product you received has a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit. (Don’t worry – our quality checks are strict, but if we ever miss something, we’ll make it right.)
- In rare cases, if we cannot fulfill your order or an item is unavailable, we will refund your purchase for that item.

Cases Not Eligible for Refund:
- Change of Mind/Size Issues: If your item was delivered correctly and on time but you simply changed your mind or need a different size, we typically do not issue a direct cash refund. Instead, we’ll be happy to exchange the item or offer you store credit.
- Late Return Requests: Return/exchange requests made after the 72-hour window of delivery may not be accepted. Please try to inform us as soon as possible if you intend to return an item.
- Refused Deliveries: If you refuse delivery of an order that was shipped on time (or provide an incorrect address leading to failed delivery), a refund may not be applicable. We encourage accepting the package and then contacting us for a return, rather than refusing at the door.
- Final Sale Items: Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable on our website are not eligible for returns or refunds (unless they arrive damaged or defective).

Refund Process & Timeline:
- Once your returned item reaches us and passes the quality check, we will initiate the refund process (if a refund is applicable).
- Method: Refunds are typically issued to the original payment method. If you paid by credit/debit card or net banking, the refund will be credited back to the same account. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, we can process the refund to a bank account you nominate or issue it as store credit – we’ll coordinate with you for your preference.
- Processing Time: We aim to process approved refunds within 7-10 working days of receiving the returned product. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time (usually 3-7 days) to reflect the refunded amount in your account. We will provide any transaction/reference number once the refund is processed so you can track it with your bank if needed.
- We appreciate your patience during this process, and we’ll keep you informed via email at every stage.

Store Credits:
In cases where we issue store credit (for example, for eligible returns of sale items or exchanges), the credit will be applied to your Wemekko account. You’ll receive an email notification once the credit is available. Store credits can be used on any future purchase on our site and typically have a long validity (or no expiration). They’re our way of saying we value you and want you to find something you truly love!

·       Pricing: All prices are listed in the indicated currency and are subject to change if needed. If a price changes after you place an order, don’t worry – the price at the time of purchase will always be honored for that order.

·       Order Acceptance: Once you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we’ve received your order. In rare cases, we may need to cancel or refuse an order – for example, if a product is out of stock unexpectedly, if there’s an issue with payment, or in case of an obvious error in pricing. If that happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund any payment you’ve made for that order.

·       Changes to Orders: If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing it. We’ll do our best to accommodate the request. (Once an order is in processing or shipped, we may not be able to make changes.)

·       Shipping & Delivery: We typically dispatch orders within a few working days. Delivery times may vary based on your location. If there is a significant delay or we’re unable to ship within the estimated timeframe, we will let you know. Please note that once we hand over packages to the courier, external factors (weather, courier delays, etc.) can affect delivery, but we’ll assist in tracking any issues.

·       International Orders: If you order from outside our home country, you are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes that may apply. We have no control over these charges, and customs policies vary widely.

3. Your Account & Security

·       You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials (email, password) and for restricting access to your devices. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.

·       All activities under your account (orders, comments, etc.) are presumed to be authorized by you. Please ensure you log out after each session on shared devices to protect your account.

4. Prohibited Activities

To keep Wemekko a safe and positive space, you agree NOT to:
- Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to interfere with or hack the website, or transmit any virus, malware, or any code that could harm our site or other users.
- Copy, duplicate, sell, or exploit any part of our products, images, site content, or service without express written permission from us. (We put a lot of love into our brand and designs – thank you for respecting our intellectual property!)

However, we do not control these sites and can’t be responsible for their content or services. Using those websites is subject to their own terms and policies. We truly hope you have a flawless experience with Wemekko. However, in the unlikely event that something goes wrong:
- Wemekko (and its owners/directors/employees) will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. This includes things like lost profits, lost data, or other intangible losses.
- Our liability is always limited to the value of the product you purchased (if an issue pertains to a purchase). We of course will do our best to rectify any issue with a product (through a replacement, refund, etc. as per our policies).
- We provide our website and products as is and as available, without any heavy legal warranties. But rest assured, we are committed to quality and will always strive to keep our promises to you.

Wemekko may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our policies, services, or for legal reasons.
